*enters through the double doors of My chambers, throwing off My cloak, looking haggard and much more pale than normal. Quickly reaching into the bag She carries, taking out a box, looking at it with a look of almost dismay on Her face, She quickly moves to the safe, placing a hand on it, the door swings open and the retina camera flashes a light as it looks for recognition, if it did not recognize Her the intruder would be killed intermediately, leaving questions to be asked later. She places the box inside and once Her hand is removed, the door swings shut and the security measures are armed. With a sigh, She moves to the chair by the window, turning over the events of the past week. She calls for Rosa asking her to bring Her two goblets of B+, Rosa looking a bit surprised to see Her, but saying nothing. Rosa quickly brings the requests and Mayra takes the first and downs it immediately, a slight flush coming back to Her cheeks, She thanks Rosa and turns back to the window lost in thought*
Mayra wonders how She will tell Her Daughters, that the Dibbuk Box now resides in Her chambers
She muses for a minute about the box, knowing it's origin all too well.
The dibbuk box (in the Hebrew language known as קופסת דיבוק, or Kufsat Dibbuk), is a wine box which is said to be haunted by a dibbuk. A dibbuk is a restless, usually malicious, spirit believed to be able to haunt and even possess the living. If a dibbuk box is burned, the box will take a long time to burn, but as it is burned, the dybbuk is fully released and cannot be returned to the box.
Mayra, disconcerted, takes flight to seek counsel from Her Grandmother.
